No ktv, but got ki!

Ah Chang and I have been aching to go KTV for quite a while now. Till now, no chance. BLECH.

Since history repeated itself tonight, I had the night free and my parents were eager to bring kiki out for a while. I'm supposed to study, of course, but.... but... how can I miss seeing ki grow up? heehee!

While waiting for my sis to bring ki down to the car, I saw this van selling what looks like ice-cream. Didn't know got such businesses at HDB carpark sia.

He was super excited to see us. As always. He loves it when he gets to go out to play. In the car on the way to IMM, I held him all the way and he was telling me about the bus and cars. Cute little boy... starting to get so talkative.

He loves IMM for several reasons. One of which is that there are plenty of kiddy rides around. This was the first one he saw.

It just had to be a red car (his fav) huh? Thank goodness out of order. Else each short ride is $1!!!

He spent a little time spinning the steering wheel and stuff..

.. before we managed to convince him that there's more fun elsewhere.

Another car!

These strollers are all over IMM. To get your kid strapped in place and not bugging you, you need to fork out $3.50 an hour.
My parents decided to let him have a ride since he wanted it so much.

So my sis pushed him around and he happily "drove" while we navigated to the lift.

He likes the car so much.

But probably not as much as he likes the indoor playground.

Plenty of kids around. Most of them taken care of by maids. Ki didn't care. All he wanted to do was climb up and down and jump all over the place.

They have this little race track for fellas who want to race their little toy cars. Ki watched it for a while but like I said, he prefers the playground.

Today wasn't a very good "photo day" so several photos had ki with his eyes closed or not too smiley, but my sis managed to capture this for me!

(See how tanned I am now? Argh. Anyone know of an effective body lightening lotion? Otherwise, I'm amazed at how my complexion looks in this photo. No makeup or photoshop - so must be the lighting and the camera. Casio Exilim BEST!)

Anyway, let's focus back on ki.
My dad decided to bring ki to another playground on a floor below. It's much bigger and it's always packed with kids. Tonight was no exception but it didn't bother ki at all.

He went about his climbing up and down.

And spent quite a while rocking on this little springy thing.

He got dizzy on the merry-go-round.

Walked on this shakey "path".

Into his mummy's arms.

An hour was up, so we had to return the car trolley. Last ride down the travelator before "parking" the "car"

Then off to Burger King where he embarked on the discovery of art.

With some of mummy's help, he gets more colour in his paintings.

What masterpieces eh?

It got late and it must have been about 9. IMM was still bustling with lots of people. Time to pack up and send kiki back. Ki grabbed his painting stuff and went on his journey to the carpark.

Any day with ki is a good day.
I held him all the way till he got back to his other grandma's place. We sent my sis back to her place, then on our way back home, we encountered a sudden slow of traffic.

Several auxilliary traffic police were escorting 2 extremely long vehicles that were transporting (according to my dad) parts of a bridge. Wow. Interesting. The whole road was blocked so those 2 long vehicles could move at their own pace ok? No overtaking at all.

Ah. What a tiring night again. But still just as satisfying.
