Aching as I type
I FINALLY made a trip to the Jurong East Swimming Complex. It's the prominent one you can see along the MRT track near Chinese Garden.
Dearie's camp mates had organised a little gathering amongst the 7 of them, of which there were another 2 girls. Also from their camp (CMPB).
We had a wonderful time. Reached there at nearly 11am, and stayed there till 5+pm. You can imagine how burnt and wrinkled we were.
Being the little scaredy cat I am, it was miraculous when I heard myself agree to going up the pink slide where you sit on your float (costs $3 btw, but worth it) and slide down. Another girl and I felt sick coming down 'cos of motion sickness. Damn fun though. Damn scary too. Hahahaha!
Then lagi better, I went to try to yellow slide where you come down a tunnel and plonk into the water in 2 seconds. Once I took my place I forgot all about closing my nose and tada.. all 3 of us girls kenna water in our noses. HAHAHA!
One helluva time. Had a good KFC lunch where we walked in fully decked in our swim wear. No one else did that.. hmm.. we wonder if we were the only ones who ever did - 'cos it sure looked like the case. Heck it sia.
I am now aching from the swimming and playing. The girls were naturally fair so they got sunburnt pretty badly. Me? I'm already super tan. Since young. I seldom get burnt, but I know my back itches now, and I'll have to be prepared for the peeling. Also, I got even more tan than ever. I look like I'm Malay liaoz. I need aloe vera all over me. Skin's all drying. OH NOOoooOOooOOOOoo... I don't haveeee....
After swimming they wanted to go eat, but me wanting to catch kiki dragged Dearie back to catch him before he went home. He was sleeping after a nice long gai-gai session on Children's day, but he woke up when Dearie stared at him a little too long. Heehee! He didn't even make a sound! haha!
THe cutesey one was ever so eager to show off his new books and toys to Dearie and I. He looked absolutely adorably in his jersey.
He got Dearie to push him around in his "car".

After his bath, he played with his NEW cars. Argh. My parents keep buying him new stuff. He has got a carpark full of cars already!

He was in such a chatty mood that when I flipped through the photos that they took from their outing earlier, Ki excitedly told me what he did.
He drove a biiiiig truck at the arcade.
And a car.
And he even hugged a big "dinosaur". Don't know why he calls it that. Haha!
Went to play at the playground.
He's so adorable. Now he can recall and tell his day like a story. Awww...
Just like ki, I love Saturdays. Always packed. Always fun.
Unfortunately I spoiled the day for Dearie by incorrectly telling him the time for a show called "House" (damn good emmy award winning show k?), causing us to miss it. Oops. At least we managed to catch a good ol' Johnny Depp movie earlier.
Dearie working today. Reminds me of my life in Poly. 2 years later... I can't wait for us both to finally be free of studies and just be "working adults". No part time this and that.
Let's wait and see huh?
For now, at least I'm enjoying life. :O)
