A bunch of stuff

Monday: Attended company briefing that was compulsory. Thankfully they held it at SP. It ended at 5:30 and I made it home by 5:40pm.
Slept through half of it. And I wasn't the only one. In fact, some left halfway.

I had to attend class that night. BLECH.

Tuesday: NATIONAL DAY!
Went to Dearie's aunt's place in the afternoon for their public-holiday gathering. Had a mountain of food there as usual. Mountain of GOOD food should I say. heehee.... Managed to watch Mr & Mrs Smith again (since we missed the first 20 min of the show at the cinema).
Watched half the parade there, and made our way back to my place. Tried watching Seoul Raiders in my room but DVD player faulty - and Xbox still with Dearie - so went to Nisa's room to watch instead. Heehee.. Parents watching parade outside mahz.
After that we even managed to catch CSI on channel 5. CSI is goooood.

Wednesday: Was super sianz at work. Maybe it's just 'cos it was mid-week. Or that I was just plain bored. Dunno why. But my consolation was Dearie had a job to do near me. Manual labour. Dearie bought lunch for me so I didn't need to walk out and get it. Awwwww... [Didn't eat together 'cos my lunch start, his just end.]
Then I had bloody class that night. ARGH.

Thursday: Dearie didn't need to work near my place. ALso good lahz. The work too tough already. Wanted to eat pasta but too lazy. Was dressed up in my new outfit from Chaos (the $29 top and $29 skirt). Made a mental note to buy future clothes from them. Just need to watch out for sale.

Anyway, still bored at work but 'cos everything keeps piling up, I seriously need to do some catching up. Sighz...........
[FN girl bought goooood Secret Recipe cake 'cos she tio 4D. So heng. heehee.. and so nice. I mean her AND the cake. She bought 2 big cakes for my company sia. Not cheap ok?! I think she splurged all the winnings with allt eh treats. I still owe her a treat. Feel so bad about it. Don't like to owe things lahz. I mean, who does, right?]

Went for dinner at Keppel Club. Farewell dinner for my boss. Good food, good company. More than half the people at the table were managers. Senior managers in fact. They're the nice ones. They're up there 'cos they got what it takes. THey got the brains and skills.

I'll never be senior mgt sia. It's just soooo not me. I'll just be the oblivious happy worker I am. If I can, one day I'd like to just manage a few people. Nothing like snr mgt with so many strategic decisions. Like I say, I'm easily contented. I rather focus my time and effort on my family. Snr mgt spend more time on work than family. No way. I'm a committed worker, and will work hard for the company; but nothing at the expense of family. Then again, I haven't got one yet, so... current family and friends it is. haha!

When I went home, I saw my parents had bought me a new DVD player. Wow... Sharp brand some more.

Jialatz. I'm ranting. Means brain is shutting down and unstable. Must sleep. Long day tomorrow. Why? BLARDY CLASS, that's why.
