Chiong night

The ever so cute KIKI again!!!~
Awwwww... Look at him. So handsome...

It'd been soooo long since I've gone clubbing. By clubbing, I mean drinking booze, getting high, and hitting the dance floor.
Destination: The latest, hippest, most happening place-to-be Club Momo.
I donned myself up with my new dress (that I am sooo proud of). In fact, you could say that I "organised" this clubbing night so I had an excuse to wear it.
Anyway, by the time we got to Momo, there were groups standing around outside.. seemingly waiting for their friends. We got our "free entry" invisible stamp and headed out to join in and become the "waiting for their friends" group.
We waited for Nisa and told her we found out there was no way we could get a table to ourselves, even if we opened a bottle. She didn't believe it (actually neither did I) and we went in the search for the manager.
To no avail.
No manager looking person. She spoke to a couple of people but she knows e clubbing scene well enough to know that those people were not going to be any good.
It was 9+. Close to 10. The crowds were coming in and every single table was EMPTY. Yes. The beautiful couches were left empty. No one was to sit on them unless they wanted to get chased away by the waiters and waitresses who were guarding them so closely.
Quite sickening you know. You're prepared to wave a few hundred bucks at their faces and they don't even want to let you have a good time. That's bullshit to me.
Digress time: I believe in paying my way off to have a good time. And if it means paying for my friends so they have a good time, I'll be more than happy to do so. As long as I get to see their genuine laughter and joy, it's worth it. I don't care much for material things, but the "comforts of life"... THAT is worth paying for.
We did not intend to stand around from 10pm - 3am with a few jugs of drinks. No point. Want to drink also no space to put drinks. WAT THE HELL....
I say Momo is overrated. It's for young people to hang out if they're broke. And the members who have to book 1 week in advance for seats... well... they probably have too much money then.
I'm in between, so since Nisa's bf was heading down to Newsroom to look for someone, she tried her luck at asking if he could get us all in.
The only reason why Momo is "happening" is 'cos there're more girls there. BIANGZ. One day all the girls will get sick of e place (won't be long) then guys will still keep going in search of girls.. and eventually the place will just be packed with guys.
We had.. hmm.. Dearie, me, Nisa, Evon, YL, Patrick and Dearie's camp mates Ah Chang, James and Bong/Eddie with a girl called Jessie. Altogether 10 people lor. I so pai seh that night. I was the one who jio-ed Chang go Momo then want to change place to NB. Biangz...... worse still, Dearie stuck in the center also. KAOZ.
Thankfully, Dearie's mates were all such nice people and didn't mind us changing the place.. ok.. at least they were nice about it 'cos they could easily not have been. Heehee....
We went over and got free entry for all 10 pax, including a couple more who came in later. Wow. Not only that, we got a nice big couch area to ourselves. Newsroom used to be for the older crowd and played retro. Now, it plays the top 40s/R&B stuff and all the fellas there were young.
Damn.
Feel so old in there sia. So long no club and still feel old. Jialatz. Even longer time never drink so much. Hmm.. bad bad. Dearie's mates and mine were pretty much split 'cos we all didn't seem to "click" so well, but unlike some people I've been clubbing with, everyone was nice about it and all.
So happened that it was some CJC bash that night so it was a huge gathering of youngsters. THen there were the Jim Bean cowgirls walking around selling/strutting their stuff - which ACTUALLY WORKED. My gosh. The boys bought 2 bottles sia. Amazing. $98/bottle only though so actually very worth it. They got a good deal.
We opened 1 martell. And i think we opened another later. I wasn't sure. I just drank whatever there was by then.
What happened was we played that dumb "hand game" 5-10. Evon and I were losing quite a lot. If we lose 3 times in a row we have to down the entire glass. I kenna twice I think. And consecutively. That explained why I stood up and the whole world was tilted. Good thing about me is when I'm drunk, I laugh alot. It was to the point where I was so happy, but still very clear about what was going on. Only irritating thing is the moving floor. Which made it perfect for dancing.
All this happened before midnight, mind you. But to redeem myself, I have not drunk this amount of alcohol in a VERY VERY VERY long time.
I didn't hit the dance floor till 1am I think. 'Cos I landed up continuing our dumb group games to get intoxicated enough.
This was actually one of those rare outings where each and every one of us (ok, may except Nisa and Dearie) got really intoxicated. Nisa 'cos she can hold her liquor so well she prob does so every weekend. Dearie 'cos he was busy taking care of his drunk mate Chang. Poor fella. I never got to see him drunk. THey made him go outside and the rest of them were in and out of there taking turns to look out for him. haha!
Well, my bunch this time, maybe because we are such "old" clubbers, got high one after another. We were high enough to be able to take care of ourselves, yet it didn't to happen to all of us together. Obviously I kenna-ed first. Thanks to Clarence, he knocked out Evon YL AND Bladey. Biangz. All in a game of 1-to-1 5-10. Scary.
Evon usually talks alot when she's drunk. She didn't that night. Meaning she got high. High enough to be soooo happy, but not enough to start the talking thing. HAHAHA! So cool sia. By the time it was time to go home, we were both all right. Can't say the same for Bladey. He was KO-ed by CLarence. HAHAHAHAHA! Still, he managed to make it home.
YL didn't get enough rest 'cos she had to manage an event the next day. I learnt she was unwell that whole day. Eeks. Hope the event went well though.
Evon and Patrick had to work too, although later.
I went back to Dearie's place - for the first time ever I stayed over at his place. It's nice to wake up, open your eyes, and roll over to whisper "Good Morning". Ahhhh.......
Still, we didn't get to sleep long. At first Dearie was supposed to go to work but he was too tired and couldn't. I had to head back home and have a proper wash up before I met my colleague later in town. Had to get a gift for my boss who's leaving. Semi-work stuff.
Amazing bunch. All got something on the next day and all still drink until like that sia.
Chang ah.. my sister last time said something before (not exactly, but I modified it): If prepared to get drunk, then be the first one to get drunk. Heehee.. quite true lahz actually. If wanna chiong, impt thing must be happy okie???
Told you liaoz, next time drinnk with me. CONFIRM I down first then you CONFIRM not "burden", as what you say. So.. how? When wanna go ktv? HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Attended a very boring briefing this afternoon by my company. Since I was still recuperating from Saturday and didn't get to catch up, the afternoon seemed like the perfect time and condition for me to doze off.
Only reason why I'm not out tonight is 'cos of BLARDY class. It's just tedious going there after work, but thankfully the lectures are good. I enjoy learning and listening to whatever is being taught. Unfortunately, there is the reality of exams.
I hate studying (not attending lectures. studying = sit down and read notes for the purpose of exams).
I hate exams.

National Day tomorrow. Yay! Holiday! Wonder if I'll catch the parade on TV. Sometimes it's good to feel patriotic. GOtta be thankful mah.
Still..
I need more holidays..........
